Dr. Huegel specializes in a multidisciplinary approach to achieving long-term weight management and overall health improvement. She brings her expertise in medicine and cognitive behavioral counseling to her programs. With her knowledge, experience and compassionate approach, Dr. Huegel guides her patients on their journey safely and effectively. Topics will include how to increase movement when we have time constraints or physical limitations as well as the role of stress in your life and how to reduce it.  Come join the Women of Leadership and see how small changes can make a big difference.

Dually board certified in Family Medicine and Bariatric (non-surgical weight management) Medicine, Dr. Claudia Huegel practiced primary care for nine years and currently has been practicing bariatric medicine for almost twelve years.  She is a graduate of Rutgers University and Ross University Medical School and completed her training in Montclair, NJ at Mountainside Hospital.  She is the owner and medical director of Medimorphosis Physician Assisted Weight Loss in Shrewsbury, NJ which she founded seven years ago when she realized she could do so much more healing by helping patients address their weight.  She is the winner of several prestigious awards for several years in a row including Most Compassionate Doctor and Patient's Choice Award from Healthgrades.com and Vitals.com.  In addition, she speaks publicly around the state on numerous topics regarding the treatment of obesity.
