Join ACG Tampa Bay on Tuesday, March 8th as we discuss crowdfunding.  Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising monetary contributions from a large number of people, today often performed via internet-mediated registries, but the concept can also be executed through mail-order subscriptions, benefit events, and other methods.

Complimentary to ACG Members & Their Guests. Limited to 25-30 people.  PLEASE make sure to cancel your reservation if you won't be able to make it so others can attend!

David Chitester has been starting companies from scratch and building them into profitable enterprises in Tampa for more than 25 years. He sold his first company, Chitester Management Systems, to Hill International, a public company headquartered in Philadelphia and he sold his second company, RedVector.com, to a group led by the Tampa venture capital firm, Stonehenge. His latest venture, Florida Funders, is a statewide online investment platform that offers investment opportunities in early stage companies. Florida Funders aims to provide investors access to an entirely new asset class just recently made possible by the passage of the Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act.  Mr. Chitester is known statewide as an expert in Crowd Finance, Crowdfunding, and the JOBS Act.

Sheryl Hunter, Esquire has a passion for entrepreneurship and small businesses. She is not only an attorney with 20 years of legal experience, she’s an entrepreneur and business owner.
