Mark Hasting

Blain’s Farm & Fleet
CEO & President

As Chief Executive Officer and President of Blain’s Farm & Fleet, Mark is the first non-family member to take the helm when Jane Blain Gilbertson transitioned to Executive Chair of the Board in September 2024. In his new role, he is responsible for all aspects of Blain’s Farm & Fleet and Blain Supply, Inc.

In July 2020, Mark joined Blain’s Farm & Fleet as the Chief of Stores Officer. Within two years, he was promoted to Chief Commerce and Operating Officer, taking on additional responsibilities for e-commerce operations, P&L, real estate, and facilities. In August 2023, he was promoted to President and Chief Commerce & Operating Officer, which further expanded his purview to include Demand Planning and Supply Chain, highlighting his continued commitment to driving the company's growth and operational strategy.

Mark's career showcases his exceptional leadership and operational expertise. With a diverse portfolio of experiences across various enterprises, he has consistently developed high-performing teams that deliver results. His 20-year tenure at Target, where he served in roles ranging from Store Manager to Vice President of Store Operations, honed his skills in driving operational excellence. At Starbucks, as the Vice President of the Mid America Region, Mark broadened his customer-centric approach, enhancing both service and the overall customer experience.

As COO for Kum & Go and MyEyeDr, Mark modernized operations and laid the groundwork for scaled growth. His track record in improving financial and operational performance, nurturing talent, and fostering growth is evident across multiple large, geographically diverse organizations. Mark's ability to leverage talent, systems, and processes has consistently led to improved financial outcomes, productivity, associate engagement, and customer experiences. His operational and service excellence has propelled strong brands through growth and turnaround phases, successfully scaling operations throughout his career.
