Join ACG St. Louis for the June Monthly Meeting featuring Sara Vaughan, Executive Director of TedxStLouis.

St. Louis Confluence is the all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization behind TEDxStLouis and TEDxStLouis Women. Since 2013, the organization has produced more than 25 live events and over 175 TEDx talks, reaching more than 2.2 million viewers worldwide and amplifying the ideas shaping the future of the St. Louis region. Executive Director Sara Vaughan will share how this volunteer-powered platform curates a pipeline of bold thinkers and emerging ideas, develops speakers through a rigorous preparation process, and elevates regional innovation to global audiences. Gain insight into how strong ideas take shape, what distinguishes a TED-worthy message, and how the discipline behind TEDx talks can strengthen executive communication and strategic storytelling. Attendees will leave with practical tools they can apply immediately and have a deeper understanding of how thought leadership helps answer the question, “Why St. Louis?”

Executive Director

As Executive Director, Sara brings both strategic vision and deep organizational knowledge to TEDxStLouis leadership. She first joined the organization in 2021 as Director of Production before stepping into the Chief of Staff role, where she worked closely with the Executive Director and leadership team to drive key initiatives forward. Value-driven and results-oriented, Sara has always been passionate about creating a stage - both literal and figurative - for thought leaders to share ideas that challenge perspectives and inspire change. Sara brings this same curiosity, clarity, and outcomes-focused execution to her consulting and fractional leadership work through Salva Strategies, where she serves as a strategic partner to leaders building complex initiatives that require both direction and disciplined execution.
