Eric LeGrand Whiskey Eric hopes to dispel the misconception that those living with paralysis cannot enjoy life’s finer pleasures. While Eric’s path has been an arduous one, he reminds himself to celebrate his victories and encourages others to toast their own triumphs daily. Eric’s tireless spirit and appreciation of whiskey led him to found Eric LeGrand Whiskey. As Eric learned more about the journey of a Kentucky Straight Bourbon, he found that the precision when creating the mash bill, the patience required during the barrel aging process, and the trust in the overall process paralleled the precision, patience, and trust required in his own grueling recovery. LeGrand is donating US$5.20 for every case of bourbon sold to support the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, the figure representing his jersey number of 52 at Rutgers University. |

LeGrand Coffee House As an African-American man in a wheelchair, Eric knows what it is like to have the odds stacked against you. However, he approaches every single day with a mode of positivity that enables him to accomplish any goal he sets his mind towards achieving. Once he determined that his heart was set on launching his own coffee brand, no disability or pandemic was capable of standing in his way. We all have difficulties enter our lives from time to time, and Eric hopes to remind everyone of how important it is to maintain a positive mindset despite whatever circumstances you may be facing. The launch of LeGrand Coffee House is so much more than simply opening a coffee shop. It is a reminder that we can accomplish anything if we set our heart, mind and focus on that goal. |
