Jonathan Zucker, Managing Director and Head of Capital Advisory at Intrepid (Moderator)

Jonathan Zucker is Managing Director and Head of Capital Advisory at Intrepid Investment Bankers, where he leads the firm's debt and equity capital raising practice for middle-market companies, private equity sponsors, and family-owned businesses. Since launching Intrepid's Capital Advisory practice in 2014, he has helped grow the platform significantly while advising clients across a broad range of financing transactions.

Stuart Aronson, CEO Whitehorse Capital Direct Lending at H.I.G. Capital

Stuart Aronson is Chief Executive Officer of WhiteHorse Capital Direct Lending and Executive Managing Director at H.I.G. Capital, where he oversees the firm's direct lending platform focused on providing customized financing solutions to sponsor-backed and non-sponsored middle-market companies.

Prior to joining H.I.G. Capital, Stuart served as President and CEO of GE Capital's Sponsor Finance business, where he led one of the industry's leading lending platforms, including GE Antares, Telecom/Media/Technology, the Bank Loan Group, and GE Equity. During his more than two decades with GE Capital, he also held senior leadership roles within Structured Finance and Capital Markets, overseeing syndication, private placement, securitization, and trade finance activities. Throughout his career, Stuart has advised, financed, and partnered with middle-market businesses across a wide range of industries and capital structures, making him one of the most experienced executives in the direct lending and sponsor finance markets.

Stuart earned an MBA from Columbia Business School and a bachelor's degree in Economics from Tufts University.

Alex Doll, Executive Director - Private Credit - Product Strategist at Blackrock

Alex Doll, Executive Director, is a Product Strategist within the HPS Private Financing Solutions team, serving as the liaison between investment teams and clients for Direct Lending strategies.  

Prior to this role, Alex was a portfolio manager within BlackRock's Fundamental Fixed Income group, where she was responsible for alpha strategies, portfolio construction, and asset allocation for Short Duration portfolios, including the BlackRock Low Duration Mutual Fund and the BlackRock Short Duration Bond ETF.

Prior to joining BlackRock in 2019, Alex was a trader on the Municipals Sales & Trading desk at Wells Fargo where she began her career as an analyst in 2016.

Before entering the finance world, Alex was captain of FF Lugano, a women's professional soccer team, playing in the First Division of Switzerland's Professional Soccer league. Alex was also captain for Stanford Women's soccer team prior to her professional soccer career.

Scott Simpson, Partner - Head of Credit at Bregal Sagemount

Scott Simpson is a Partner and Head of Credit at Bregal Sagemount, where he leads the firm's credit investing activities. He has more than 25 years of experience in leveraged finance, strategic advisory, and principal investing, completing over 100 transactions totaling more than $60 billion across a variety of industries, with particular expertise in technology, media, and telecommunications. 

Prior to joining Bregal Sagemount, Scott was Partner and Head of Originations at Brightwood Capital Advisors and previously held senior leadership positions at GE Capital, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. He earned an MBA from Columbia Business School and a bachelor's degree in Economics from Tufts University.
