Alan is a banker at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, serving the New Jersey and New York Metro area. In his role, Alan works directly with clients, founders, and executives, providing comprehensive advice on all aspects of their balance sheets. He is committed to delivering timely and strategic guidance, covering a wide range of wealth management matters including day-to-day banking, portfolio construction, lending, and wealth transfer planning. 

Before becoming a banker, Alan played a pivotal role within the integrated team, where he partnered with senior bankers and investors to advise the team’s sophisticated families and individuals. Prior to joining the Private Bank team, he gained valuable experience as a pricing analyst at a consumer-packaged goods company and as a manager at Amazon.com.  

Alan graduated from Rutgers University with a B.S. in Financial Management & Capital Markets. During his college career, he demonstrated leadership and mentorship by founding an investment club and reactivating the Beta Omicron chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, a co-ed business fraternity. 

Originally from Chester, New Jersey, Alan now resides in Millington New Jersey with his wife and miniature schnauzer puppy. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he enjoys going to the gym, golfing, snowboarding, and keeping up with college football.  

Alan holds Series 7 and 66 FINRA licenses. 

Sitting at the intersection of Investments, ESG, and AI, Eddie Ramos is an accomplished global investment management leader who has advised and led teams investing worldwide. While building an exceptional, award-winning track record managing global investments, including three 5-star Morningstar-rated mutual funds, he is focused on investing in innovative sustainable companies & projects that seek to solve global problems with the intention of generating measurable societal and environmental impact while achieving a solid financial return.   

Eddie is the Chief Strategy Officer for Emerge⁹, an AI-powered fintech platform that delivers enhanced investors access to private assets, and an Advisor for Bullpen.ai, an AI platform accelerating deal screening, diligence, and smarter investment decisions. He is also currently on the board of Morgan Stanley’s Calvert Mutual Funds and Global X Venture Fund, serving as the Chairman of the Audit Committee for both; and has also served on the board of Macquarie Group’s Optimum Mutual Funds and Board of Trustees for Lehigh University. As a Director for the Latino Corporate Directors Education Foundation, he is a faculty member of the group’s BoardReady Institute. Eddie is also a member of The Alpha Council, a network designed to empower board directors in navigating the complexities of AI governance, and the National Association of Corporate Directors. He is a Qualified Audit Committee Financial Expert with Climate Leadership and Cyber Risk & Strategy Certifications, media-trained and experienced, and has visited and invested in 50+ countries, including 30 emerging markets.   

Eddie led global investment teams at New York Life Investment (NYLIM) subsidiaries as Chief Investment Officer, Senior Managing Director, and member of the Executive Leadership team at Cornerstone Capital Management. He was also a Lead Portfolio Manager at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, Brown Capital Management, and Templeton Investment Counsel. Most recently, he was Head of External Advisors / Diversity Portfolio Management for New Jersey’s Division of Investment where he was responsible for all external advisors in this $100 billion pension plan and developed the State’s first Emerging Managers platform.  

Eddie was invited by President Barack Obama’s White House Business Council and Business Forward to discuss U.S. Job Creation and Economic Competitiveness, and to discuss Trade with Cuba.
