Gautham Deshpande is an Audit Partner in the Financial Services Group, with more than 15 years of accounting, audit and consulting experience in the securities and investment management industries. He leads the audits of private equity funds, venture capital funds, hedge funds, real estate partnerships, alternate investment vehicles, and investment advisors. Gautham’s expertise includes fair value measurements, complex financial instruments, and consolidation matters.

Gautham regularly speaks at industry conferences and is a frequent contributor to the firm's thought leadership in the securities and investment management space.

Roman has worked in technology capital markets for 20 years having started his career in technology M&A at Lehman Brothers, subsequently working at Banc of America Securities and Morgan Stanley before transitioning to venture capital. Roman was a Partner at Kernel Capital, a Silicon Valley venture fund focused on B2B enterprise software companies where he was responsible for leading 22 investments and scaling several of his portfolio companies from Seed through C rounds. Today Roman is a Partner at Andra Global, an SF based technology growth fund.

Joe Lynam is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive with extensive Global Fintech startup and operating experience. Prior to Verrency, Joe was the Co-founder of xPressTap and Founder of PaymentOne Corp and VRS Billing Systems (Acquired by AT&T). Joe is an Inc. 500 alumnus and holds 11 patents supporting his work in mobile commerce, mobile wallets, data analytics and authentication technologies.

Nashley leads revenue strategy at Marqeta. Marqeta has defined the global standard for modern card issuing, developing an industry-leading issuer processor platform that now powers the world’s most innovative companies.

Nashley comes to Marqeta from McKinsey & Co. At McKinsey, Nashley worked on strategy and corporate finance projects across multiple geographies. Prior to McKinsey, he tinkered on Motorola phones as an engineer. Once Motorola got acquired by Google, he got his MBA from Tuck School of Business.
