Women in Leadership

We are excited to share this year’s wonderful lineup of events from the ACG OC’s Women in Leadership (WIL) Committee and to ask for your help in expanding our network by inviting new women leaders to join ACG OC!

The ACG OC Board has seen incredible leadership from many members. Yet, women – especially senior female leaders – are still underrepresented in attendance at our events and in our broader ACG network. By creating intentional spaces for women to connect and share experiences, we encourage them to join ACG – deepening our membership pool and expanding the network reach of our vibrant community for everyone!

With that in mind, the Board empowered the WIL Committee to create a mix of “women only” and full membership events to address its goal to increase the membership of female leaders in ACG.

Here are a few highlights from this year’s events:

On September 11th, we welcomed Marine Colonel and NASA Astronaut Nicole “Duke” Mann to the Westin where she will talk about her amazing journey from combat to the space station. We are excited to include the entire ACG membership as well as the World Affairs Council at this wonderful event.

On December 4th, we have our first annual Women’s Holiday Luncheon and Toy Drive featuring esteemed author Jill Schulman of “The Bravery Effect,” who will be speaking about brave leadership and living.

On February 26th, 2026, we will host the ACG men once again at the Bungalow in Newport Beach for great cocktails, food, and networking at one of the best venues in OC.

We are excited for our first Women’s Poker event on March 26th, 2026, where we will have real poker coaches teach the women of OC the traits and tricks of the world of poker while they enjoy food and cocktails – sans the cigars.

And of course, we will host our third annual White Party on May 14th, 2026, where men and women alike will don their best dressed white couture for an evening on the Vea lawn and the best ocean views in OC.

We ask that the entire ACG OC community help us to grow membership. If you know a woman leader who could contribute to our community and get value back, please spread the word about how ACG-OC continues to evolve and amplify our membership, and invite them to one of our events!
