Founded in 1954, the Association for Corporate Growth has chapters worldwide representing
14,500 members. ACG serves 90,000 investors, executives, lenders and advisers to growing
middle-market companies. ACG's mission is to drive middle-market growth.
75% of ACG members report that they have done business with fellow members.
This return on investment has made ACG the most trusted and respected resource for
middle-market dealmakers and business leaders who invest in growth and build companies.
ACG Raleigh Durham is the region’s premier organization dedicated to profiling,
promoting and celebrating corporate growth. Our chapter is the local presence
of the Association for Corporate Growth.
The mission of ACG Raleigh Durham is simple: help business leaders grow their
companies. We do this through high quality programming and focused networking
opportunities for members. The Next Gen (<35), Women’s and Member Only events add
additional opportunities for our members and sponsors to connect.
In April of 2020 ACG Raleigh Durham will be hosting its 18th Capital Conference.
The Capital Conference boasts over 400 attendees representing 35 States. Over 75 Private
Equity and Mezzanine Funds, 20 Investment Banks and top M&A professionals join us
for 1 1/2 days of intensive networking and deal making.
Since our inception, ACG Raleigh Durham has grown steadily and is today
comprised of over 150 leaders responsible for their company’s corporate growth
initiatives, both organically and through mergers and acquisitions. Approximately
one half of our membership represents area corporations or capital providers,
with the remaining half representing trusted, senior advisors and M&A professionals.
In the past 9 years, ACG Raleigh Durham has been recognized as a leader among ACG Chapters,
being named as “Chapter of the Year” in both 2011 and 2016. Additionally, we have been awarded
two innovation awards in 2013 and 2015 for programming which continues to
refresh our members’ reason for membership and participation in our chapter.
After a successful trial event in November, 2018, the ACG Raleigh Durham Chapter officially
launched the Association for Corporate Growth Piedmont Triad Network. The PTN hosted
their first stand alone meeting in May 2019 with over 100 attendees. A schedule of 3 additional
events will round out 2019 with 6 more planned for 2020.
Membership in the PTN is expected to grow steadily throughout the year.
