Dr. Charles T. Moses

USF
interim dean of the School of Management

Dr. Charles T. Moses joined USF as interim dean of the School of Management in August 2019.

Dr. Moses came to USF after serving as director of the Stillman Accelerated Management Program at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He is the former interim dean of the College of Business Administration at Austin Peay State University in Tennessee and dean of the College of Business Administration at Clark Atlanta University in Georgia. Dr. Moses holds a doctor of management degree from Case Western Reserve University, an MBA from Zicklin School of Business in the City University of New York, and a BS in psychology from Howard University.

Before his academic career, Dr. Moses held positions in government and journalism. He served as the executive director of former New York Governor Mario Cuomo’s Advisory Committee for Black Affairs, and as the deputy press secretary in the Office of the Comptroller of New York City. He also held positions as a journalist and manager at newspapers in New York.

Ishan is an entrepreneur, global executive & team builder who loves creating and scaling up businesses. He  is driven by the idea of democratising access across various dimensions and has spent all his professional life doing so through his work in the areas of education, finance & information. 

Ishan is currently the Global Head of Operations at Udacity. In this capacity, he is responsible for driving successful outcomes for customers worldwide and across consumer, enterprise and government channels. Prior to heading global operations, Ishan built Udacity’s India business from the ground up.

Before joining Udacity, Ishan was VP of Services in the e-commerce division of Paytm, India’s largest fintech company. He was Founder & CEO of EduKart.com, which became India's largest education marketplace in only five years before it was acqui-hired by Paytm. He was also the first growth evangelist for Facebook in India. While still an undergraduate student, Ishan founded his first company delivering offline technology trainings across India and is a published co-author of a book on demystifying entrepreneurship. 

Ishan earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering from University of Delhi and a MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.

He has spoken on topics such as business, leadership, entrepreneurship, technology and education at many prestigious forums across the world. He is also a regular writer in leading publications of India and featured on prominent news channels.

Siya Raj Purohit is the Co-founder / General Partner of Pathway Ventures, an early-stage venture fund focused on Edtech & Future of Work. Prior to starting Pathway, she was an early employee at Udacity and Springboard. Siya is also the author of Engineering America, a book on the country's jobs-skills gap.

Dustin holds a degree in chemical engineering from Cornell University and lives in McKinney, TX with his wife Amy, daughter Lily and son Chase.
