Join ACG Tampa Bay as we return to the Sarasota Yacht Club on Tuesday, October 12th for a candid conversation about SPACs and ESG Investing.  
 
Our esteemed panel, Daniel Cohen, the Chairman of the Board of Cohen & Co., and Cooper Abbott, asset management executive and sustainability investor, will share their knowledge about ESG Investing and SPACS and how to build successful asset management businesses.

Over 20 years of transformative executive and strategic leadership, Cooper has emphasized client needs, outcomes, and creative approaches with entrepreneurial investors.  He has founded and built an $80 billion global multi-boutique firm as part of an NYSE-listed company and has been an innovative contributor to Sustainable finance.

His experience includes public and private markets, organic and acquisition-led growth, institutional and wealth channels, all with a focus on scale and global reach.  He is a forward-thinking innovator in responsible investing and democratizing investment access.

A regular keynote contributor on the business of asset management and the role of investments in society, his insights on capital markets, investments, sustainable investment / impact / ESG, and the business of asset management have appeared in a range of publications and broadcast outlets, including the WSJ, Financial Times, IPE, Institutional Investor, Pensions & Investments, Plan Sponsor, CNBC, Fox Business, and the London Stock Exchange, among others.

Cooper has served as a Fulbright Fellow in the South Pacific working on cross-cultural sustainability impact projects.  Cooper earned a B.A. with Phi Beta Kappa and honors from Brown University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business (University of Pennsylvania).  He is a CFA charterholder, a Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and has received the FSA credential from the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board.

In addition to a sustainability focus, Cooper is an active mentor and supporter of first-generation and under-represented access to higher education and career opportunities through involvement with universities and not-for-profits including FIU, USF, APIA, Brown, Wharton, and the Leadership Enterprise for a Diverse America.

Daniel Cohen is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cohen & Company Inc. and of the board of managers of Cohen & Company where he has overseen the  the financing, acquisition, and placement of billions of dollars of ABS, commercial mortgage-backed securities, corporate and financial technology related assets. Mr. Cohen is also CIO of FinTech Masala, CEO of FinTech Acquisition Corp. VI and FTAC Hera Acquisition Corp., and former CEO of FinTech Acquisition Corp. I, II & III, IV & V.  Fintech Masala has been recognized as one of the most prolific acquirers of companies through spacs.  Mr. Cohen has served as Chairman for SPACs Insurance Acquisition Corp. and INSU Acquisition Corp. II & III, as well.  Mr. Cohen is a member of the Academy of the University of Pennsylvania, the Visiting Committees for the Humanities of the University of Chicago, and the Institute for Ideas and Imagination in Paris. He also serves as a trustee of the American Numismatic Society.
