As Managing Partner of HealthEdge, Phil is responsible for originating deals, overseeing due diligence, financing, and transaction structuring, document negotiation, portfolio company management, fundraising and investor relations, and management of the firm.

Before co-founding the firm, Phil served as CEO and Chairman of publicly-traded PlanVista Corporation (formerly HealthPlan Services Corporation) until its merger with ProxyMed, Inc. in 2004. During his tenure at HPS/PlanVista, he also served as Chief Counsel, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and President. Prior to HPS/PlanVista, he was a partner in the law firm of Hill, Ward & Henderson, P.A.

Phil currently serves on the Board of Directors of Corridor, CSS Health, The Columbus Organization, iTRAC, and Spectrum Medical Partners, as well as Mary Lee’s House and Tampa General Hospital, where he serves as Board Chair.

Phil holds an LLM in Taxation from New York University, a J.D. with honors from the University of Florida, and a B.B.A. in Accounting with honors from the University of Notre Dame. Outside of work, he focuses on his faith and family — with wife Kim and twins Ashley and Lauren.

At Hyde Park, Mr. McDonald originates, executes and manages private equity and debt placements, mergers and acquisitions, fairness opinions and general financial advisory engagements. Prior to founding Hyde Park in January 2000, Mr. McDonald was a Managing Director of the Investment Banking Healthcare Technology/Life Sciences Group at Raymond James & Associates, Inc. where he worked as an investment banker in their corporate finance group for over 11 years.

Prior to joining Raymond James, Mr. McDonald was employed by IBM Corporation and Motorola, Inc. While at IBM, Mr. McDonald worked as a mechanical engineer on the development team for IBM’s initial personal computer products which included the PC, PC-XT, PC-AT and PS2 Series. At Motorola, Mr. McDonald worked as a mechanical engineer on the development team for the world’s first consumer cellular telephone which was launched in the fall of 1983.

Mr. McDonald holds a B.S.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science from the Duke University School of Engineering where he graduated magna cum laude and was awarded the Tau Beta Pi honorary. In addition, Mr. McDonald holds a Masters in Business Administration degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. McDonald holds Series 7, 24, 27 and 63 securities licenses.

Mr. McDonald serves on the Board of Directors of the Tampa Chapter of the Association of Corporate Growth, the Board of Visitors for the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University, and the Board of Advisors for the Center of Entrepreneurship at the at the University of South Florida.

William Murnane has served as Chairman of the board of Lazydays since 2009. He joined the company as Chief Executive officer in December 2016. From 2008 through 2016, Mr. Murnane, was a former principal and operating partner at Wayzata Investment Partners LLC, where he specialized in operational turn-arounds. From 2000 to 2007, Mr. Murnane was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Innovex, Inc., an international manufacturer of components used in high technology electronics. Before joining Innovex in 1995, Mr. Murnane was Chief Operating Officer at Boutwell Owens & Co. and Uniform Printing and Supply, two privately held printing companies based in Massachusetts. Mr. Murnane started his career with United Parcel Service when he held various engineering and management positions. Mr. Murnane holds a BS in Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology, an MS in Operations Research from the University of Maryland, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Dave Felman has practiced banking, corporate, and securities law in Tampa and New York City. While with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York, his practice focused on acquisitions and public and private securities offerings, including representation of a major leveraged buy-out firm and several major underwriting firms. Dave's practice principally involves securities offerings, venture capital investments, mergers and acquisitions, and representation of public, established and emerging growth companies. He acts as counsel to a number of institutional venture capital and private equity investors, including Lovett Miller & Co., Ballast Point Venture Partners, HealthEdge Investment Fund, Supply Chain Equity Partners and Stonehenge Capital.

Dave acts as counsel to public companies with respect to securities and governance matters, including defensive measures, Exchange Act reports, SRO requirements, audit and compensation committee practices, annual meetings, and general advice to Boards of Directors.

He is a founder and the principal organizer of The Florida Directors’ Institute, an annual full-day program on corporate governance for public company directors. Dave is a past chair and on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Florida Venture Forum. He has chaired The Florida Bar’s Business Law Section, its Corporations and Securities Law Committee, and committees responsible for drafting laws governing Florida corporations and guidelines for legal opinions. He continues to serve on the Executive Council of the Business Law Section. Dave is a co-chair of the annual Southeastern Private Equity and M&A Forum in Atlanta, Georgia. He also serves as a faculty member of the annual Federal Securities Institute, a two-day program in Miami, and has spoken at seminars throughout the United States regarding securities offerings and compliance, private equity capital raising transactions, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and lending deals.
