Why did you join ACG?
I was fortunate enough to have been invited to participate as a guest member in the first year of NextGen (YACG at the time) almost 10 years ago. The people I met in those first few years have become dear friends and valued colleagues. As I “aged” out, ACG was the next logical step.

How has ACG WI helped you in your career?
I have benefitted from the relationships and personal connections.

What has your ACG membership meant to you?
ACG has reinforced a strong sense of business community.

What lessons have you learned during the pandemic that you think you will carry over in the long term?
Face to face networking is irreplaceable in developing and maintaining relationships.

What do you think are the biggest challenges your industry will face in the next 5 years, and what actions is your business taking to position it for success in the future?
The increasing role of artificial intelligence in contracts. We emphasize the importance of sound general business advise, which cannot be replicated with software.

What do you do for fun?
All things related to my family (two daughters 8 and 6), travel, friends, sports and reading.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
Anything artistic or play hockey.

What is the best book you have read this past year?
As someone who reads dense contracts for a living, I keep my personal reading light - beach reads and celebrity autobiographies.
