Chapter Policies

MEMBERSHIP

  • ACG Memberships are individual memberships and are not tied to a company or firm regardless of how the membership is paid.
  • As of January 1, 2020, ACG Austin/San Antonio Memberships are the $375 per person for individuals 40 and older.  The NextGen membership rate of $250 per person under the age of 40 will be available for 1 year. After that time the member will renew at the full member price.  Proof of age will be required when a NextGen member joins.
    • As always all members of NextGen are welcome to attend NextGen and regular programming regardless of membership type.

REFUNDS

  • Unless otherwise stated, cancellations received in writing to acgasa@acg.org by 5pm the day before the event will receive a full refund. There are no refunds for cancellations received after 5pm on the day before the event. If you are an ACG Member unable to attend, you can transfer your registration to another person for this same event. If the person attending in your place is not an ACG Member, they will need to pay an additional fee to bring them up to the non-member rate to attend.

UNREGISTERED ATTENDEES

  • Any unregistered attendees at ACG Austin/San Antonio events will be required to pay the walk-in/day-of event rate at the door.

SPEAKERS/CONTENT

  • Opinions and comments by any speaker or panelist at an ACG Austin/San Antonio event or program do not necessarily reflect those opinions of the ACG Austin/San Antonio staff, membership or sponsors.

EVENT SEATING

  • ACG Austin/San Antonio reserves the right to fill open seats with walk-in registrants at the respective event venues once the networking period has passed and the official event programming has begun. In rare instances this could mean that registered attendees arriving late will not have a seat readily available upon their arrival. In these instances ACG Austin/San Antonio will work to accommodate the attendee, and if not able to do so to the attendee's satisfaction, ACG Austin/San Antonio will refund their registration fee.

REQUEST FOR ACCOMMODATIONS

  • Anyone requiring dietary accommodations or disability-related accommodations should contact Sara Singer, ACG Austin/San Antonio Executive Executive prior to the event date.  Requests made the day-of an event may result in delays or the inability to accommodate the request.

IMAGE WAIVER

  • An individual's registration for ACG Austin/San Antonio events acts as an audio/video release and includes that individual's permission for ACG Austin/San Antonio to use their image and comments captured on audio, video or photographic formats while attending the event for marketing and promotional purposes. For further information please contact: Sara Singer, ACG Austin/San Antonio's Chapter Executive @ acgasa@acg.org or 512-970-0417.

ALCOHOL POLICY

  • ACG Austin/San Antonio strongly encourages all attendees to use designated drivers or ride share services (such as Uber or Lyft) from any event where alcohol is served.

    SPONSOR, EXHIBITOR, AND ATTENDEE BENEFITS

    • ACG Austin/San Antonio reserves the right to modify, substitute or eliminate attendee, exhibitor and sponsor benefits if needed, if the benefit is not available, and/or to preserve the integrity of the conference attendees’ experience.
    • ACG Austin/San Antonio sponsorships are considered firm and irreversible once email confirmation is received.

    ATTENDEE LIST USAGE

    • When applicable, the intent of the provision of attendee lists is to facilitate targeted networking and meaningful business connections prior to, at, and directly following the event. Acceptance of the attendee list implies agreement to the specific terms and conditions stated on the attendee list. Additionally, the attendee list cannot be distributed to outside parties not directly associated with the event or conference, nor can it be used for mass solicitation purposes of any kind.  Sponsors, exhibitors, member and attendees found to be in violation of ACG Austin/San Antonio policies and agreements voluntarily forfeit all of the remainder of the sponsor, exhibitor, event attendee or member benefits that were to be provided to them. Please contact Sara Singer, ACG Austin/San Antonio's Chapter Executive, at acgasa@acg.org or (512)970-0417 if you believe any ACG lists are being used inappropriately.

    ADVANCE APPROVAL

    • Sponsors, exhibitors, event attendees and members are encouraged to receive confirmation from Sara Singer, ACG Austin/San Antonio's Chapter Executive, in advance to ensure that any planned outside event, activity or attendee list usage does not conflict with these terms and conditions.
