As a Family Wealth Director- a designation held by less than 4% of Morgan Stanley advisors- Chris focuses his work on serving the most affluent clients of the firm.  He specializes in advising families considering substantial liquidity events due to the sale or recapitalization of a closely held business. In 2013, he cofounded The Pine Harbor Group, which currently advises on nearly $1.3B in assets under management and is among Morgan Stanley’s fastest-growing wealth management teams.  Pine Harbor was ranked by Forbes as one of the top-teams in the State of Michigan in 2023.  Chris is also an Alternative Investments Director, where he does firm-leading work for high-net-worth clients with non-public investments. 

In 2022 Chris was honored by Forbes Magazine as Morgan Stanley’s top “Next-Gen Wealth Advisor” in the State of Michigan.  In 2021 he was ranked by Middle Market Growth Magazine as one of the top next-gen middle-market professionals in North America for his work advising entrepreneurs. Chris was highlighted in Crain’s Detroit Business list of “40 under 40” in 2020 and DBusiness Magazine “30 in their Thirties” in 2019. He has been honored a Five-Star Wealth Advisor by Hour Detroit every year since 2013.
Chris is a national advocate for Middle Market entrepreneurs. He was elected the President of the Association of Corporate Growth’s Detroit chapter where he worked with investment bankers and private equity executives to advance the interests of middle market businesses. Chris serves on the advisory board at MSU’s Eli Broad College of Business and helped his alma mater create an innovative Masters in Wealth Management Program- the first in the Big Ten and among the first Universities in the country.

Chris is a native of Toronto but is extremely proud of his adopted hometown city of Detroit and cares deeply about giving back to his community.  He is currently an advisor to Winning Futures, an award-winning non-profit committed to mentoring and empowering underserved youth.

Jasmeet Singh Marwah is a Managing Director in the Valuation Advisory group and Stout’s Business Valuation practice leader in Michigan. He has more than fifteen years of experience providing a range of financial and valuation advisory services to clients globally for financial reporting (for U.S. GAAP and IFRS), mergers and acquisitions, trust and estate, and tax restructuring purposes. His experience includes corporate finance advisory, business and equity valuations, valuation of intangible assets, portfolio valuations, and fairness and solvency opinions.

Jasmeet has served public and private enterprises in a broad range of industries, including automotive, application software and SaaS, healthcare technology, diversified industrials and manufacturing, plastics and packaging, and waste management. As part of Stout’s Detroit team, he has developed technical expertise with respect to the traditional platform and automotive technologies as well as analyzing and valuing the innovative software solutions that support in-car connectivity, battery & fast-charger production, active control systems, and autonomous driving technology.

Jasmeet focuses on the firm’s business development efforts and is responsible for initiating and managing client relationships, with an emphasis on proactively addressing clients’ investment banking, valuation, fairness and solvency opinions, accounting and reporting advisory, and due diligence requirements.

Jasmeet is an active member of the Financial Executives International Detroit and a board member of the Business Alumni Association Board of Directors at his alma mater, the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to joining Stout, Jasmeet worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers’ valuation and strategy team and Ernst & Young’s valuation and business modeling team.

Jonathan M. Martone is a member at the law firm of Clark Hill PLC and serves as the Deputy-Member-in-Charge of the Firm’s Birmingham, Michigan office.  Since 2009, Jonathan’s legal practice focuses on a broad range of litigation and transaction-based commercial and personal-legal service matters, including serving as outside general counsel to several privately held companies.  Among the other recognition and awards Jonathan has received for his diligent representation of clients, Jonathan has been consistently named a “Rising Star” by Michigan Super Lawyers since 2013 to present, is the recipient of OCBA Bonnie Beutler Outstanding New Lawyer Award in 2018, and the Italian American Bar Association of Michigan’s President’s Award in 2022.  Jonathan is a licensed in both Michigan and Tennessee.  

Jonathan is actively involved in the Metro-Detroit legal community.  Jonathan has been an active member of the Oakland County Bar Association for over a decade, having served on several OCBA committees and initiatives, including as the Chair of the OCBA New Lawyers Committee from 2017-2019.  Since 2012, Jonathan has been a fellow of the Oakland County Bar Foundation.  Jonathan is the immediate past President of the Italian American Bar Association of Michigan, having served on the IABAM’s Executive Board since 2015.   

Jonathan is a lifelong Oakland County resident, and a graduate of James Madison College at Michigan State University, with honors, Phi Beta Kappa (2006), and Wayne State University Law School, cum laude (2009).

Clayton is a Senior Vice President for PNC Business Credit where he focuses on financing LBO's, dividend recapitalizations, ESOPs, high growth, turn-arounds and cyclical businesses seeking flexibility and durability. He has spent nearly 18 years in Banking and finance but has also gained considerable experience serving as Vice Chairman of the Board for Waseyabek Development Company (a tribally owned economic diversification company) and as Managing Director for DWH, LLC a boutique Financial Advisory firm focused on M&A growth and succession strategies as well as turnaround and restructuring strategies. Clayton earned his bachelors of science in Accounting from Western Michigan University’s Haworth College of Business and his MBA from Wayne State University’s Mike Ilitch School of Business.
