The nomination period for our 11th Annual M&A All Star Awards program (deals done in 2025) is now closed.

Deal of the Year Over $50 Million in Revenue

Eligible nominations include a specific deal over $50 million in revenue, closed in 2025, where the buyer or seller had a presence in SE Michigan. Factors considered most strongly in the judging are impact to the local M&A community, complexity and degree of difficulty and success.

Deal of the Year Under $50 Million in Revenue

Eligible nominations include a specific deal under $50 million in revenue, closed in 2025, where the buyer or seller had a presence in SE Michigan. Factors considered most strongly in the judging are impact to the local M&A community, complexity and degree of difficulty and success.

Rising Star of the Year

Nominations for Rising Star should be for an individual, 35 years old or younger as of December 31, 2025, who is based in SE Michigan and has made a significant contribution to M&A transactions.

All Star Lending Professional of the Year

This award recognizes an outstanding individual lender who has demonstrated strategic excellence, deal innovation, and exceptional performance in 2025. Nominations must highlight the nominee’s impact through client solutions, competitive wins, and leadership in the Michigan market. Individual must work in SE Michigan for a for-profit financial institution (public or private) that provides financial solutions or growth capital.

Investment Banker of the Year

Eligible nominees must be based in SE Michigan and have significantly impacted M&A transactions. Factors considered most strongly in the judging are impact to the local M&A community, body of work, complexity and success of their activities for 2025. 

Advisor of the Year

Eligible nominees must be based in SE Michigan and have significantly impacted M&A transactions. Factors considered most strongly in the judging are impact to the local M&A community, body of work, complexity and success of their activities for 2025. 

Dealmaker of the Year

Eligible nominations are for a dealmaker, individual or firm based in SE Michigan including either buyers or sellers. Factors considered most strongly in the judging are their contribution to the local M&A community, complexity and body of work for 2025.
