DETROIT, Nov. 12, 2026—ACG Detroit, a 400-member organization representing the region’s middle-market M&A community, is now accepting nominations for the 11th Annual M&A All Star Awards. Nominations must be submitted by Friday, January 16, 2026.
The annual awards program honors the top deals and professionals shaping Southeast Michigan’s mergers and acquisitions landscape. Recognizing transactions completed in 2025, the program celebrates those whose creativity, strategic insight, and execution have advanced the region’s dynamic deal environment.
Award categories include:
Deal of the Year Over $50 Million in Revenue
Eligible nominations include a specific deal over $50 million in revenue, closed in 2025, where the buyer or seller had a presence in SE Michigan.
Deal of the Year Under $50 Million in Revenue
Eligible nominations include a specific deal under $50 million in revenue, closed in 2025, where the buyer or seller had a presence in SE Michigan.
Rising Star of the Year
Nominations for Rising Star should be for an individual, 35 years old or younger as of December 31, 2025, who is based in SE Michigan and has made a significant contribution to M&A transactions.
NEW CATEGORY: Lending Professional of the Year
This NEW award recognizes an outstanding individual lending professional based in SE Michigan, who has demonstrated strategic excellence, deal innovation, and exceptional performance in 2025.
Investment Banker of the Year
Eligible individuals must be based in SE Michigan and have significantly impacted M&A transactions.
Advisor of the Year
Eligible individuals must be based in SE Michigan and have significantly impacted M&A transactions.
Dealmaker of the Year
Eligible nominations are for a dealmaker, firm based in SE Michigan including either buyers or sellers.
Winners will be celebrated at the M&A All Star Awards ceremony on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 6-8:30 p.m. at The Townsend Hotel in Birmingham, Michigan.
