Ryan Lewis

Ryan is a member of FORVIS Transaction Advisory Services based in the Dallas office. He provides buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence services to private equity groups and strategic investors. Ryan focuses on evaluating the acquisition target’s quality of earnings and net working capital requirements through financial statement analysis, data analytics (including AR waterfall analysis) and discussions with key personnel. He reads the acquisition and financing agreements to identify if they reflect the proper deal structure and coincide with financial due diligence findings.

Michael Schneider

Michael Schneider is the CEO of Joe East Enterprises, a privately held security services and retail company. Michael has been with Joe East Enterprises for 17 years and CEO for over 10 of those years. Today, Joe East Enterprises oversees and operates several companies including A-1 Locksmith, Turnkey Secure, and Browning Safes of Texas. Michael received his degree from Texas Tech University in Communications Studies and is a Board Member and Treasurer of the Stemmons Corridor Business Association, on the Leadership Council of MCBA and former board member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) - North Texas Chapter, Renaissance Executive Forum DFW. 

Matt Shofner

Matt Shofner serves as a Partner of Havencrest Capital Management. Prior to Havencrest, Mr. Shofner served as Principal at Hersh Family Investments (HFI), a Dallas-based family office, since 2013. At HFI, Mr. Shofner was responsible for deal sourcing, structuring and due diligence for investment opportunities across a wide range of industries, including healthcare services. Mr. Shofner worked closely with management teams and other private equity investors to improve the operational and financial performance of portfolio companies as well as help implement strategic initiatives, complete add-on acquisitions and facilitate post-acquisition integration.

Greg Young

Greg S. Young is a Senior Investment Strategist and a Senior Vice President in the Dallas office. Bernstein’s Investment Strategy Group provides asset allocation, investment and risk management advice for the firm’s high-net worth clients. In addition, Greg oversees investment strategy for foundations and nonprofits (<$100M) . Prior to joining the firm, Greg was a principal and a senior consultant for Mercer Investment Consulting for 10 years, advising corporate pension plans and other large institutional clients on asset allocation and manager selection. Previously, he spent five years with AMR Investments serving first as an associate fixed income portfolio manager of cash and money market portfolios and later as a senior pension analyst on American Airlines’ pension plans.
