Nate is a partner in Weil’s Private Equity practice. He advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, family offices and other private capital investors, as well as public and private companies, in acquisitions and dispositions, partnerships and joint ventures, equity fundraising, venture capital, direct investments and complex commercial transactions. His experience spans multiple industries, including energy (conventional, renewables, power infrastructure and energy transition), real estate, professional sports, financial services, professional services and consumer goods. Originally from Seattle, Nate has called Dallas home since 2002, and engages in the Dallas community through leadership and service roles.

Jon is a Partner at NextGen Venture Partners, which was acquired by Brown Advisory in 2018. He leads investing for the Venture Capital fund, with a focus on early-stage technology investments. Prior to joining the firm, Jon was a Principal at Silverton Partners, where he led deal sourcing and due diligence efforts. Earlier in his career, he worked at Draper Fisher Jurvetson and served as an Instructor at the USC Marshall School of Business.

 

Kyle Berger - Kompass Kapital

Kyle Berger Director of Investments at Kompass Kapital. With an entrepreneurial mindset, he looks to create value through relationships and strategic capital. Kyle has worked with operating businesses across a variety of sectors from infancy to maturity. Combining his operational experience with financial analytics has helped him develop unique investment theses. Kyle earned his undergraduate degree in finance at the University of Arkansas and completed his MBA at Southern Methodist University.
