LOUISVILLE (June 5, 2023) -- There’s no one person better to discuss bourbonism than Eric Gregory, president of the Kentucky Distillers’ Association and keynote speaker at the Mid-South ACG Capital Connection.

The executive leads a 143-year-old non-profit association that promotes Kentucky’s $9 billion signature distilled spirits industry. With the soaring popularity of bourbon, new brands are emerging and companies are establishing new distilleries and capacity. At the conference opening June 15, Gregory will discuss how the bourbon industry has become the worldwide juggernaut it is today.

Produced by the Kentucky and Tennessee chapters of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Mid-South Capital Connection is an annual conference bringing together dealmakers from private equity firms, investment banks, and growth companies to secure funding sources and transaction support through accounting, legal, valuation and other services.

Mid-South Cap Conn’s lunch keynote speaker is Ginger Chambless, Managing Director, J.P. Morgan. The Nashville bank executive will provide a snapshot of the economy and discuss the 2023 outlook. As one of the institution’s thought leaders, Chambless brings more than two decades of research experience within J.P. Morgan’s Corporate and Investment Bank, providing insights on the economy, industry trends and the capital markets.

“We’re excited about this conference and the many opportunities it provides deal professionals," said Josh O’Bryan, partner at Frost Brown Todd and chair of the 2023 event.

In addition to the keynote speakers, Mid-South features private equity and investment banking marketplaces, one-on-one dealmaker meetings, business-building networking opportunities and expert industry panels exploring current trends and issues.
