Adam Feit (MODERATOR)

MUFG Union Bank
Managing Director

Adam currently oversees the Financial Sponsors, Corporate Advisory, Healthcare, and Life Sciences groups at MUFG Union Bank. He has over 20 years of experience covering and advising clients, underwriting and structuring deals, and leading teams, with a large portion of his career spent in Sponsor Coverage. At MUFG Union Bank, Adam was responsible for forming the Financial Sponsors group in 2016, the Specialized Industries group in 2020, and previously leading the banks largest region in Los Angeles. The Financial Sponsors team at MUFG Union Bank has closed close to 100 sponsor backed transactions (LBOs, Recaps, Add-Ons) since covid for private equity firms across the U.S. The team works across the capital structure including Cash Flow Loans, Asset-Based Lending, Direct Lending, Unitranche (FOLO), Recurring Revenue Loans, Private Placements, and Debt and Equity Capital Market issuances. 

Prior to joining MUFG Union Bank, Adam worked in Global Corporate and Investment Banking and Commercial Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and management consulting with The Alcar Group. 

Adam received his MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business and is also a CFA charterholder.

Sean Barrette

L Squared Capital
Partner

Sean Barrette is a Partner at L Squared Capital Partners and was actively engaged in the formation of the firm.  Sean has worked closely with the founding members of L Squared Capital Partners as a Principal at Chicago Growth Partners. Prior to CGP, Sean was an Analyst and Associate at Credit Suisse based out of New York and Singapore.  Sean began his career as an auditor at Ernst & Young.  He received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Accounting and Economics from Binghamton University.  Sean is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA – inactive).

Taylor Beaupain

K1 Investment Management
Managing Partner

Taylor Beaupain is a Managing Partner at K1 Investment Management. He is responsible for legal execution and financing of investments and is an active board member for K1’s portfolio companies and advisor to K1’s management teams.

Previously Mr. Beaupain was a partner in the growth equity practice at Kayne Anderson where he managed growth equity and buyout investments. Mr. Beaupain started his career in the financial sponsors investment banking group of Merrill Lynch where he advised global private equity firms on mergers, acquisitions and financings.

Mr. Beaupain is a graduate of the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where he received an MBA and was a Dean’s Scholar, and of Washington and Lee University, where he received a BS in Business Administration, summa cum laude.

Mr. Beaupain has served as a director of numerous companies and serves on the board of the UCLA Anderson Fink Center for Finance & Investments.

Dan Krasner

Platinum Equity
Managing Director

Dan Krasner is responsible for the structuring and execution of acquisition and divestiture transactions. As a member of the operating council for portfolio companies, he also has responsibilities related to post-acquisition monitoring and oversight of add-on and divestiture transactions.

Prior to joining Platinum in 2003, he spent five years in the mergers and acquisitions group of Paul Hastings. Mr. Krasner received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, San Diego, and a Juris Doctor degree from Cornell University Law School.
