Amadea Choplin is the chief operating officer at Pex, the trusted global leader in digital rights technology. Joining pre-seed, Amadea has guided Pex through multiple strategic transitions, funding rounds, exponential growth, and acquisitions. 

Pex is focused on delivering industry-leading identification technology to match audio, melody, video, and image content across the web. On a mission to increase access to and ownership of digital content by providing a singular solution for all copyright needs, Amadea provides an expert understanding of the ever-evolving media landscape.

Prior to Pex, she served as director of corporate development and communications at Dailymotion. Amadea holds a BSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and a Masters in Public Administration from Sciences Po Paris.

Jeff Reynolds

Jeff is currently the CEO of Performance Marketing Management, a PE backed platform in data driven performance marketing.  Backed by $100MM of capital from Trinity Hunt Partners in Dallas, Jeff is leading a team of innovative marketing entrepreneurs and leaders to build a next generation digital marketing platform.

Previously, Jeff led a team at Material+ (fka LRW) that grew from 100 to 1200 employees to become a powerful, PE backed $300MM success story in analytics driven marketing services. Jeff is also the founder of Human Growth Systems, an advisory firm on scaling professional services businesses and the author of the forthcoming, Stuck? Seven Systems to Scale Your Service Business, a pioneering book offering a developmental scaling model for  growth-oriented service businesses.

Jeff and his wife Heather live in Los Angeles with their two children.  He completed his BA at Kansas, and his MA and doctoral work at Northwestern University, where he was a University Fellow.  He currently serves on the boards of several data companies and is a member of the Board of Directors of The Center Theatre Group in Los Angeles, which includes the Ahmanson, Mark Taper and Kirk Douglas theatres.

Yumee Song

Principal

Yumee Song is a Principal at RLH Equity Partners (RLH), a leading middle market growth equity investment firm targeting knowledge-based enterprises in the business services, healthcare and government service sectors.  She focuses her attention on growth investments in the healthcare and business services sectors.  Yumee joined RLH in 2020, bringing a range of investment perspectives and more than a decade of private equity experience.  She currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of Keystone, an RLH portfolio company. 

 

Yumee earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Business and Economics from the University of Virginia.

Muizz Kheraj

Muizz Kheraj joined FocalPoint’s Los Angeles office in 2012 and heads the firm’s technology practice. He has more than two decades of experience in technology, both as a software engineer and as an experienced advisor, supporting the capital market needs of middle-market entrepreneurs.

Prior to joining FocalPoint, Mr. Kheraj built the TMT practice at McGladrey Capital Markets, LLC. He has held leadership roles at various technology and digital media start-ups and currently holds active board advisory roles within numerous bleeding-edge technology firms. He has led, managed and closed an aggregate of more than $1 billion in transactions in the technology sector. Mr. Kheraj holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, a Master of Science in electrical engineering from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
