Ty is the Managing Partner of Burr & Forman's Orlando office and a member of our Corporate & Tax practice group. 

While Ty’s client base is diverse, a significant portion of his clients are entrepreneurs or entrepreneur and family-owned businesses. Growing up the son of entrepreneurs provided Ty a connection with this particular client. His business law practice consists of general corporate, mergers, acquisitions, venture capital, early-stage and start-up and joint ventures / partnerships and his representations often commence with creating the business entity and continue through the growth, exit and post-exit stages of the venture. 

Ty’s clients span a wide range of industries including but not limited to technology, staffing, tax lien, real estate management and development, insurance, fuel and oil distribution, construction, financial services, retail, pawn, retail and online, medical device, healthcare and third-party logistics, technology, private equity, hedge funds, mortgage and internet technology. He has represented clients in a broad variety of business transactions ranging in size from less than $1 million to approximately $300 million. Over the course of his career, he has also represented developers in the financing, acquisition, development and disposition of over senior living facilities in excess of $750 million in enterprise value.
