ACG Detroit invites you to join us for our annual Networking & Charity Event benefitting Michigan Hispanic Collaborative (MiHC). Come enjoy an evening of great food, cocktails and networking, while raising funds to support this amazing organization. Michigan Hispanic Collaborative (MiHC) is dedicated to helping Michigan first-generation students and young professionals navigate the complexity of college access, postsecondary success, and early career by providing support, resources, and opportunities. Recognizing the unique barriers first-generation students face, MiHC provides comprehensive support that includes in-school classes, coaching, access to resources, and family engagement.
Through partnerships with schools, universities, and employers, MiHC creates a seamless pathway for students from education to employment. MiHC’s initiatives emphasize real-world preparation and accessible information, offering resources like college application support, career exploration, and parent discussion circles.
MiHC is data-driven and rooted in the experience of the people they serve; the organization also invests in research and collaboration to make sure the support system for the community remains robust. By doing so, MiHC not only supports individuals but also strengthens Michigan’s economy and future workforce by empowering the next generation of students to succeed in their future.
