Ben Chesnut, Vice President, Pharos Capital Group

Ben Chesnut is Vice President at Pharos Capital Group, a physician-founded investment firm focused on growing healthcare companies that aim to lower the total cost of care, improve patient outcomes, and expand access to care. In his role, he is responsible for evaluating and executing investment opportunities and partnering with management teams to implement operational and growth strategies.

Prior to joining Pharos, Ben was an Investment Banking Analyst at MHT Partners in Dallas, where he provided M&A transaction execution and advisory services to healthcare and business services companies. He also served as an Associate in KPMG’s Audit Practice and worked at PTV Healthcare Capital, an Austin-based venture and growth capital firm focused on medical device and healthcare IT companies. Ben graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with both a BBA and a Master in Professional Accounting.

 

Dylan Erdle, Principal, Havencrest Capital Management

Dylan Erdle is a Principal at Havencrest Capital Management, where he is responsible for deal sourcing and execution and works closely with portfolio company management teams on governance, strategic initiatives, and add-on acquisitions.

Before joining Havencrest, Dylan was a Principal at NovaQuest Private Equity (now QHP Capital), a healthcare and life sciences private equity firm. He previously served as an Associate on the leveraged buyouts team at H.I.G. Capital, where he focused on transaction execution, financing, and portfolio company oversight. Dylan earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

 

John B. Jamison, Managing Director, Healthcare Investment Banking, Texas Capital Securities

John B. Jamison, Managing Director and Head of Healthcare M&A, has nearly two decades of healthcare M&A and principal investing experience. He has closed more than 100 transactions, including buy / sellside deals, private financings and equity capital raises for public and private companies. He focuses on a range of sectors within healthcare services, including retail healthcare, behavioral health, physician practice management, pharmacy / pharmacy services, and tech-enabled services. Jamison is based in the Dallas office. 

Prior to joining Texas Capital Securities, Jamison was a Director in the Healthcare Services Investment Banking group at Cantor Fitzgerald, where he advised healthcare clients on M&A mandates and capital markets activities. Prior to that, Jamison served as the Co-Head of Healthcare Services in the Strategic Capital Investment Banking Group at TD Cowen, where he led a team focused on originating and executing financing and advisory transactions. He previously held various corporate finance and investment banking roles at National Partners in Healthcare, Nexus Health Capital, VMG Health, and First Horizon Bank.  

 

Jamison graduated from Rhodes College with a B.A. in Business and Economics. His favorite book is The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas.

 

Kayla Marsh, Partner, Forvis Mazars

Kayla Marsh is a Partner at Forvis Mazars and serves as the Private Equity Sector Leader for the Dallas-Fort Worth-Waco practice unit. She is a member of the firm’s National Healthcare and Private Equity Group and has more than 13 years of accounting and audit experience. Kayla manages and oversees assurance engagements for healthcare providers, including private equity-backed healthcare services entities, physician practice management organizations, hospitals, and health systems. Her technical expertise includes auditing complex corporate structures, acquisitions and mergers, and reimbursement challenges faced by privately held healthcare companies.

Kayla is a 2012 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned both a BBA in Accounting and a Master in Professional Accounting.
