For the last highlight of the year, ACG Cares is happy to recognize ACG Detroit gold sponsor, BDO.  Here are some examples of how the BDO Detroit office made a positive impact in the community in 2025, through their BDO Counts initiatives:

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeast Michigan's Adopt-a-Family event - BDO raised funds and collected wish-list gifts and household essentials to create six “helping baskets” for local families in need.

Friends of Foster Kids | Macomb County Michigan - BDO volunteers wrapped gifts for seven foster children in their community, supporting local nonprofits and spreading holiday cheer.

Pink Fund - BDO hosted a Pink-Out Day lunch to raise awareness and funds for Pink Fund, an organization which provides financial assistance to breast cancer patients.

Sweat Away Sarcoma – SARC Partnership - BDO Counts and the BDO Health & Wellness Committee teamed up with the Sarcoma Alliance for Research for a fitness fundraiser. Team members participated in workout events, raised funds, and cheered on colleagues, all to support sarcoma research.

Blood Cancer United  - With a long tradition of supporting Blood Cancer United, BDO's Detroit office hosted a Sip, Snack & Support breakfast to raise awareness for the organization. The event raised nearly $10,00 for the cause, and was matched by the company to maximize impact. The team also participated in the Light the Night Walk at The Corner Ballpark in Detroit, celebrating survivors, honoring loved ones and supporting those currently battling blood cancers. Keep up the good work for 2026, BDO Detroit!
