As Senior Vice President of Development for Olympia Development of Michigan, Stefan leads the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic real estate initiatives within The District Detroit. With more than 25 years of experience as an executive, co-founder, and principal in private equity real estate firms and related operating businesses, he brings a proven record of driving growth, profitability, and innovation across diverse real estate portfolios and asset classes.

Mr. Stration’s expertise spans the full spectrum of real estate development including project planning, acquisitions, design programming, joint ventures, capital funding, sales, marketing, and leasing. His leadership has guided numerous complex developments from concept to completion across multiple property types.

A passionate advocate for community and wellness-focused development, Stefan is actively involved with organizations such as the Michigan Senior Olympics, Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, Urban Land Institute, Meals on Wheels, and the Detroit Economic Club. He holds real estate broker licenses in Michigan and Georgia and is accredited by both the International WELL Building Institute (WELL AP) and Fitwel as an Ambassador.

Kevin P. McCarron is a senior producer/client executive based primarily among our two offices in the Metro Detroit area. In his role at Gallagher, Kevin works with our prospective and current clients in providing them with the best risk management and insurance brokerage solutions, products and services in an effort to make them more successful in their operations. He is primarily focused on and licensed in commercial property and casualty insurance, but has a license in Life and Health as well. 

With a career spanning 28 years in the industry, Kevin has held different roles and operated in different segments of the profession. Early in his career, Kevin served as a P&C insurance broker in the mid to large account business segment with a specialized focus in creating, growing and operating complex and sophisticated captive insurance and alternative risk finance vehicles. As his career unfolded, Kevin produced, directed and operated a book of global and domestic insurance business that involved a myriad of different industries, including manufacturing, business services, HVAC, warehousing, distribution, transportation, construction, building/infrastructure solutions and services, healthcare, food and beverage, retail, foundries and tech enabled companies. Kevin has experience working with lower middle market to Fortune 500 global companies. 

In the past 17 years, Kevin has had a keen focus in the Mergers & Acquisitions sector of the insurance business working with investment bankers, private equity, lenders and M&A attorneys. His specialty in this sector is pre and post due diligence and delivery of transactional risk liability products to seller and buyers. 

Before joining Gallagher in 2024, Kevin served as a Managing Director at Marsh & McLennan and Sr. Vice President at Willis Towers Watson. Kevin has a bachelors degree from Michigan State University and Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Detroit Law School. Kevin is involved with numerous outside organizations and serves as a board of director on a few of them.
