Jamie Thomas is the Regional Marketing Director for the Southeast region of BDO USA, one of the largest international tax, accounting and advisory firms. Prior to BDO, Jamie was the Marketing Partner for The LBA Group, which at the time was the largest accounting, consulting and wealth advisory firm based in North Florida. LBA joined BDO in November 2016.

Jamie has 20 years of experience marketing professional services firms, has served as the National President of the Association for Accounting Marketing, was included on the 2008 list of Top 100 Most Influential People in the Accounting Profession, named the 2013 Accounting Marketer of the Year, honored as a 2014 Jacksonville Business Journal Woman of Influence and inducted into the Association for Accounting Marketing Hall of Fame in 2017.  She has written numerous articles for various industry publications, spoken at local, regional, national and international conferences, and is a contributing author to Bull’s Eye – The Ultimate How-To Sales and Marketing Guide for CPA Firms.

Jamie’s passion is helping young professionals develop their marketing and business development based on their own personal strengths. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in and on the water with her husband John, cheering on her soccer superstar 13-year old daughter, Reagan and praying that her 18-year old son, Trevor stays safe while rescuing lives as part of Jacksonville Beach’s Ocean Rescue team.
