Tell us about your role/firm.

Truist is a top ten U.S. commercial bank offering a wide range of products, including a full-service investment bank and corporate finance expertise dedicated to the middle market. As a senior banker, I work with privately held firms, generally with revenues between $75 million and $2 billion. I lead a local relationship team to provide strategic advice and capital solutions across a full range of client needs including capital markets, foreign exchange, mergers & acquisitions, risk management and business transition advisory.

What are you currently focused on?

The #1 challenge facing midsize companies is value creation and preservation. Whether family-owned or sponsor-backed, midsize firms are tasked with continued growth and figuring out how to connect long-term vision with real-time strategy. I focus on surrounding my clients with the right tools, technology and guidance to support their goals for growth and transformation.

What is your favorite ACG Orlando event, and why?

If you haven’t gone to the ACG SMART Awards, it’s one of Orlando’s premier events. The SMART Awards recognize midsize firms for their outstanding accomplishments in culture, growth, business creativity and economic contribution to Central Florida. The ceremony attracts 250+ business professionals and C-suite executives focused on the middle market, including representation from private equity, business evaluation firms, senior debt lenders, intermediaries, venture and mezzanine funds, attorneys, CPA's and finance professionals.

My favorite podcast is M&A Science hosted by Kison Patel. Every week, Kison and his expert guests dip deep into real-world M&A strategies.
