As a founding member of the firm’s Portfolio Operations team, Beth has helped define and deliver TCV’s Value Creation playbook with initiatives that span Go-To-Market, Customer Success, C-Suite and Board Effectiveness, Operational Excellence, and Technology transformation.

In addition to working with investment teams and portfolio company executives, Beth oversees TCV’s external advisor program. She also serves on the board of directors of OneSource Virtual.

Prior to TCV, Beth led transformation efforts as an executive at Vertafore, a SaaS company jointly owned by Bain Capital and Vista Equity Partners.  Earlier in her career, Beth held a series of finance, strategy, and operations roles across the Corporate Executive Board, Ericsson, and Alliance Data Systems.

Beth has little free time thanks to her identical twin daughters, husband, and dog.  When her girls allow her to indulge, she loves watching professional tennis. Beth received an M.B.A. from Duke University and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Missouri.

Steve Lee is a San Francisco native with over a decade of real estate advisory experience in San Francisco Bay Area and Southern California. He has worked with a diverse range of office tenants, from small tech startups to large multi-market companies leasing anywhere from 2 to 3 million sq. ft. of space. His team identifies clients’ pain points and key priorities, whether it’s cost savings or flexibility, to deliver the right strategy and results. Working at CBRE allows the team access to the many resources and tools the company brings to the table as a global, full-service firm.

Outside of real estate, Steve spends his time building a community of other professionals in various industries. When he’s not working or connecting people, you can find Steve at home in Marin with his wife, Jacqui and son, Nixon.

Kristin Mauer is a Director of Business Development at True Partners Consulting LLC, based in the San Jose office, with broad responsibilities for Business Development and leading our Flex Staffing practice throughout the West Coast and Northern California markets.  Kristin focuses on client relationship development, ensuring that clients receive value and service beyond their expectations.  Kristin also recruits and deploys dozens of tax professionals every year to our clients as Loan Staff. Since joining True Partners in 2010, Kristin has helped the San Jose tax practice grow by over 30%.

Kristin has extensive experience in business development in professional services and executive recruiting with primarily mid to large market technology and bio-technology companies.  Her passion is to create and develop relationships, meet financial and tax leaders, understand their needs and help them make the right connections so they can grow their business and team.

Prior to joining True Partners, Kristin held business development and sales leadership positions of increasing responsibility at Jefferson Wells (now Experis), UHY, The Novo Group, AC Lordi and Kforce.

Kristin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, Organization Studies from the University of California, Davis.  Kristin manages a busy household with three sons and is active in many athletic and not-for-profit organizations including AYSO, Little League and Boy Scouts of America as a result.

Ron L. Tambasco is a Managing Director for True Partners Consulting’s Tampa office. He has over 30years of experience dealing with state and local tax issues including corporate income and franchise taxes, sales and use taxes, property taxes, gross receipt taxes, and payroll taxes. Ron has extensive experience developing and implementing integrated tax planning solutions for corporations. He also has experience representing companies before state tax authorities and administrative boards and advising clients on state tax aspects in merger and acquisition transactions.

Prior to joining True Partners, Ron worked for 16 years in the state and local tax consulting group of PwC.

Ron received a Masters of Accounting with an emphasis in tax from Brigham Young University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida.  He holds a license as a Certified Public Accountant in Florida, North Carolina and Virginia.

Prior to joining CBRE, Chris spent four years as a Managing Director with Newmark Knight Frank’s Global Strategy Consulting group where he specialized in site selection and location strategy engagements servicing a variety of clients seeking location solutions throughout the world. Prior to Newmark, Chris was a member of the Corporate Occupier Services Consulting group at Savills Studley located in New York City and Washington, DC.

Christine is a senior quantitative research analyst and is the quantitative portfolio manager for the Internet of Things, Blockchain Innovation, US Manufacturing and Smart Cures Innovation thematic strategies. As a senior quantitative research analyst she concentrates on the blending of fundamental insights with quantitative techniques, providing needed investment tools and analytics while also advising on portfolio optimization. Christine sits on the Mellon ESG Council serving as the ESG data expert. In this role Christine is responsible for the application of ESG data into investment processes as well as ESG-related quantitative research and the generation of proprietary signals. Previously, Christine was a member of the firm’s Investment Risk team and covered all asset classes with a focus on multi- asset. She began her career with the firm in 2007 as a quantitative analyst.

In addition to her role as senior quantitative research analyst, she is the quantitative mentor for the firm’s research associate program, a group that combines fundamental research with advanced technical skills.

Prior to joining the firm, Christine spent a year working with the elderly homeless population in Boston. Christine earned a BA in economics from Harvard University and a MS in investment management from Boston University. Christine is a SASB FSA Credential holder.

Ms. Cramer is a 25-year veteran investment banker in the financial services industry having focused on mergers and acquisitions within the asset management, wealth advisory and fintech solution sectors.  Over the course of her career, she advised on over 52 transactions representing over $240 billion in assets under management in consolidations. Ms. Cramer has also advised public and privately held financial services firms on valuations, recapitalizations, incentive compensation structures and succession planning. 

Ms. Cramer is a Managing Member of How Women Invest, a gender-lensed venture firm investing in early-stage tech-enabled startups.  She is an experienced board director having served four years with Atlanta Life Insurance Company where she acted as audit chair for the reinsurance affiliate.  She is an Advisory Director for OpenInvest, a venture backed fintech platform serving turnkey asset management platforms, investment managers and the wealth management industry.  Ms. Cramer also serves on Trips for Kids Marin, a non-profit board, where she oversaw recruitment of executive directors and board directors, and fundraising activities. Ms. Cramer is an active speaker and mentor for women in finance and leadership; she is a member of How Women Lead, the Athena Alliance, NACD, and 100 Women in Finance.

Elizabeth grew up in Newburgh, New York and graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University with a BA in International Studies and French.  She received her JD from Temple University.

Lara Druyan is a Managing Director with Silicon Valley Data Capital, a seed and early-stage venture capital fund. She is an investor in the sponsor group of Prime Impact, a SPAC that went public in September of 2020 and is joining the Board of a SPAC scheduled to go public at the end of April. Previously, she worked for RBC where she was a Managing Director and Head of Innovation, responsible for the Bank’s digital transformation. She led the development of innovation strategy and execution as well as the identification and evaluation of start-ups and venture capital investments that drove the Bank’s technology, analytics, payments and infrastructure roadmaps. Her team drove 14 new products into production.

Previously, she was the Founding Partner of G&B Partners, an investment and advisory firm. She also served as a Venture Adviser to SRI International and as Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Investment Committee for the San Jose’s Federated Employee Retirement System (a $2.5B pension plan). Previously, she was an Investor in Residence at US Venture Partners and a General Partner with an early-stage venture capital firm. Lara also worked at Silicon Graphics as a product manager and released a dozen software products.  Some of the companies in which she has invested in include: Xactly (XTLY), Powerset (MSFT), Skout (MEET), Cultivate, Doorstead, NavTrac, RevGenomics and Deduce. In 2018, she was named as one of the “Innovators to Watch: 44 Executives Shaping the Future of Banking” by Bank Innovation and to Constellation’s “Business Transformation 150”. Lara serves on the Global Alumni Boards of the Harvard Business School and of the University of Chicago.

Wylie is a Senior PE Analyst at PitchBook, where he leads the firm’s core private equity and M&A research. He oversees the PE teams’ broader research projects and coverage, spanning technology-focused buyout firms, growth equity, mega-funds, and more. He also produces thematic research spanning GP stakes, public PE firms, and PE firm valuations. Fernyhough led an initiative to build out a proprietary valuation tool used for closed-end private capital managers. Prior to joining PitchBook, he served as a portfolio manager at Harvest Capital, a boutique wealth management firm based in Washington. 

Fernyhough holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Seattle University.  He’s based in PitchBook’s Seattle office.

She is a master at cultivating and maintaining strong relationships throughout the private company and investor communities in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. Heather serves as both the national Emerging Growth Company (EGC) practice leader and the Audit & Assurance Private Growth leader overseeing the firm’s EGC, Private Equity, and Deloitte Private teams. In her role as the national leader, she brings the power of the firm to practitioners in key markets throughout the US.

With her vast personal network and knowledge of the industry, Heather has unique insight into the people, institutions, and technologies that shape Silicon Valley. She regularly meets with entrepreneurs and venture capitalists, and has significantly grown Deloitte’s stature, presence, influence, and service to leading companies based in the Bay Area and nationally. At  Deloitte, Heather was responsible for introducing the organization to LinkedIn in its early startup phase as a client of the EGC practice. 

Heather’s professional experience is drawn from years of nurturing her career in all aspects of the private company market. Prior to Deloitte, Heather was the chief financial officer for a telecommunications company where she wrote the business plan and led financing discussions and operations. Previously, she worked as an investment banker at Hambrecht & Quist, focusing on the software and internet industry and executing IPOs, M&A, and private equity opportunities. Heather launched her career with another Big Four firm where she spent nine years serving the technology sector and helped take several companies public, including early internet companies such as Yahoo.

Heather earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Colorado and is an active CPA in both California and Colorado. Outside of work Heather is dedicated to her two children, ages 17 and 16. She enjoys hiking and cycling and has traveled to New Zealand and France in search of the best pinot noir.

Wendy Lieu is the Co-Founder and CEO of Socola Chocolatier, an award-winning San Francisco chocolate company. Socola is the word for "chocolate" in Vietnamese, honoring her parents who fled Vietnam in 1981 as Boat People, landing in a Malaysian refugee camp where Wendy was later born. Her Vietnamese heritage is reflected in her product flavors and grit to pursue her dream.

In 2001, Wendy, 19, taught herself how to make chocolate truffles and began selling them in front of her parent's nail salon in Northern California along with her sister Susan, 16, during the summer farmer's market. After college, Wendy became a management consultant, moonlighting as a chocolatier after hours, juggling pastry school and spreadsheets at night. In 2011, Wendy began working on the company full-time and in 2014, opened her San Francisco storefront where she makes Asian-inspired truffles, chocolate bars, and other treats in small batches. She is known for her durian and phở truffles, chocolate mooncakes, and the Little Saigon Box.  Socola has been featured in Forbes, NBC News, the San Francisco Chronicle, and Zagat, and has a client list that includes Google, Tiffany, Sephora, and American Express.

Wendy is the recipient of the National Association of Women Business Owners Aspire Award, PAAWBAC Monarch Leadership Award, Renaissance Entrepreneur of the Year and Center for Asian American Media Rising Star. She is a graduate of UC Davis, Tante Marie Pastry School and the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center.
