PODs

POD, standing for Professionals Opening Doors, is a unique networking initiative designed to help members of ACG SF leverage their membership more effectively. As an exclusive benefit, PODs are small networking groups created with the express intention of helping members establish deeper relationships and refer business.

Here's how a POD works:

  • One or two members sponsor the POD.
  • 8 to 10 other members join the POD.
  • Members meet regularly to build relationships, exchange industry knowledge, and share new business leads.

Over time, as participants find value and develop strong relationships, they branch out into their own PODs. This allows the flow of business to continue and increases the number of potential referral partners.

ACG SF plays a crucial role in this process by providing introductions, structure, and tools for members who wish to create or join a POD. The most successful PODs are those that meet frequently and consistently with the clear intent and purpose of conducting business, sharing leads, and leveraging each other’s contacts and business expertise. Many PODs remain intact for several years to foster greater depth and breadth with each member.
