Sherisa Rajah

Sherisa is a senior international employment lawyer. At present, she heads up the global employment law team at Elements Global Services. Together with her team they service the regions of the business in strategy, advice, cradle to grave employee relations including terminations and negotiated exits. Sherisa has substantial experience in work councils, representation at tribunals and labour courts, collective bargaining, cross-border, transactional (TUPE and redundancies) and litigious employment law matters across the EMEA region particularly. Having practiced at international firms for the duration of her 16 years in practice, and at a senior level, having built and maintained a book of multinational clients, she gained substantial experience in global employee relations. She has led a team of junior professionals, engaged with external and internal counsel across multiple jurisdictions, consulted with employee bodies and works councils and appeared and negotiated with local authorities. In her experince to date, Sherisa has undertaken work for clients at all levels in their workplaces from chairing disciplinary hearings relating to the theft of printer paper to engaging with the Board of Directors regarding the termination of executive employees. Employment law has a sustantial business interface, and in her time, Sherisa has always built up a trusted advisor relationship and sought to empower the business through education, practical advice and timely responses.
