Tammy Madsen

Tammy Madsen is the M. Keck Foundation Professor of Strategic Management at the University of Santa Clara’s Leavey School of Business where she was once Associate Dean. She earned a PhD from UCLA (Strategy & Organization, Management) and her subsequent work has been at the intersection of strategy and innovation. She is the co-author of Modern Competitive Strategy (McGraw-Hill, 4^th Edition, 2016). In a prior life she became a test and evaluation engineer for the F14’s weapon control systems after earning a BS in Mechanical Engineering (UC Santa Barbara) and an MS in Systems Management (USC).
