Reflections on the past year and a look at what's ahead.

What an incredible year it has been! As I wrap up my term as President of ACG Western Michigan, I’m filled with pride and gratitude for all that our chapter has accomplished in 2025. This was truly a record-breaking year, from growing engagement to the strength and momentum we’ve built across our members and community.

Throughout 2025, our programming continued to thrive. Corks & Conversation, Coffee & Conversation, and the Fall Social became member favorites, while our Signature Programs continued to deliver exceptional insights and create real connections. None of this would have been possible without our dedicated board, committee chairs, and volunteers. Your commitment and creativity are what make ACG Western Michigan a true community of excellence.

As I welcome our incoming President, Doug Holtrop, I do so with immense confidence in the future of this organization. It has been an honor to serve as your President; thank you for making this year one to remember.

The success of the 2025 Great Lakes Capital Connection demonstrated the incredible strength of our business community, both here in West Michigan and across the Great Lakes region. Looking ahead to 2026, we’ll be focused on deepening member engagement, enhancing the value we deliver to sponsors, and maintaining the momentum that GLCC has created.

ACGWM is, at its heart, a member-driven organization. Your feedback, ideas, and participation are vital as we shape our next chapter together. I encourage everyone, whether a longtime member or a new participant, to share your thoughts in our ACGWM Biannual Survey, so we can continue improving your experience and ensuring our programs meet your needs.

I’m excited to lead this outstanding chapter and look forward to another impactful year of growth and connection.

I'm thrilled to continue supporting the growth and success of ACG Western Michigan as I step into the role of Vice President. Over the past two years, I've seen firsthand how our community thrives on collaboration, and I look forward to helping build on that foundation.

In 2026, my focus will be on supporting our board and committees as we enhance our member experience, expand engagement opportunities, and deliver innovative programming that continues to set ACGWM apart.

To our members, sponsors, and volunteers: thank you for your continued commitment and passion. Together, we'll keep making ACG Western Michigan the go-to community for connection, dealmaking, and professional growth in the region.

I'm honored to join the Executive Committee as Treasurer and to support the continued financial health and sustainability of ACG Western Michigan.

To ensure we can continue providing exceptional programming and member value, we are implementing modest updates for 2026:

Standard membership dues will increase by $20 to $615.
NextGen membership dues will increase by $20 to $395.
Non-member Signature Program Tickets will increase to $95.

These adjustments will help us maintain the quality of our offerings while ensuring ACGWM remains financially strong and poised for continued growth.

Thank you for your ongoing support and engagement. I look forward to serving our members and working alongside our leadership team to advance the mission of ACG Western Michigan.

What an unforgettable year for ACG Western Michigan! The success of the 2025 Great Lakes Capital Connection was a defining moment for our chapter and a testament to the energy, collaboration, and professionalism of our incredible community.

To everyone who helped make GLCC possible - our sponsors, volunteers, planning committee, and ACG partners across the region - thank you. Your commitment showcased West Michigan’s business community on a national stage, and the feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive.

As we move into 2026, our focus will be on building upon that success. We’ll continue expanding our programming, strengthening member engagement, and creating even more opportunities for connection and growth.
