General Event Terms & Conditions

Name, Image, Likeness & Registration Information

ACG Western Michigan may make audio, video, and/or photographic recordings of my image and participation in the event, and use these along with my name and likeness in any and all media for administrative, marketing, and promotional purposes. I understand that my registration information, including name, employer, title, and email address, will be used by ACG Western Michigan for event-related administration, communication, and promotional purposes. If the event is sponsored, the sponsor(s) may also receive my contact information for their own independent use for marketing and promotional purposes and may contact me regarding their goods/services.

Professional Conduct & Networking Expectations

I agree to maintain professional behavior and respect event venue rules, as well as the personal space and property of other attendees. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary actions including removal from the event, exclusion from future ACG Western Michigan events, and/or revocation of ACG membership, all without any refund, at the sole discretion of ACG Western Michigan.

ACG Western Michigan is a professional organization committed to fostering a safe and respectful networking environment. Attendees are expected to engage in business-focused, ethical conduct aligned with ACG’s mission. Solicitation outside the intended scope of the event—including aggressive sales tactics or misuse of networking tools (e.g., mass commercial emails using ACG Western Michigan-supplied lists)—may result in disciplinary actions including removal from the event, exclusion from future ACG Western Michigan events, and/or revocation of ACG membership, all without any refund.

Cancellations and Transfers

All registrations are non-refundable. If you are an ACG member unable to attend, you may request to transfer your registration to another individual. If the substitute attendee is not a member, they will be responsible for paying the difference to the non-member rate. All transfers are subject to approval by ACG Western Michigan.

Liability Waiver

By participating in an ACG Western Michigan event, I voluntarily assume all risks related to my attendance and hereby release ACG Western Michigan, its officers, employees, contractors, and board members from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from my participation in the event or from the use of any media derived therefrom.

Privacy and Data Protection

ACG Western Michigan is committed to protecting your personal data. By registering for this event, you acknowledge and agree that ACG Western Michigan will collect, use, and process the information you have provided (including your name, title, company, email address, and any other information you provide) in accordance with applicable data protection laws for the purposes of event registration, communication, administration, and marketing. Your data may be shared with third-party service providers (e.g., event platform providers, payment processors) for purposes related to your participation in the event. If the event includes sponsors, ACG Western Michigan may also share your basic registration details with such sponsors for networking and business development purposes. Your personal data may also be shared with ACG Global for use consistent with its privacy policy.
