
Randy Throener is the National Industry Leader for Forvis Mazars Food and Agribusiness Industry Group.
He has more than 28 years of experience in public accounting, providing audit and consulting
services to agribusiness corporations, cooperatives, and manufacturing and distribution entities.
Randy works diligently with his clients assisting them with financial reporting and analysis of farm
and agriculture operations, cash flow management in a cyclical industry, supply chain and
commodity pricing, hedging strategies and succession planning. Randy is still actively engaged
with his family’s farm and as such is familiar with and leverages data-driven farming practices to
improve decision making and cost optimization while practicing sustainable farming practices
Prior to joining Forvis Mazars, Randy worked as a controller for a private company. This
experience provided him insight into both external and management reporting objectives.
Randy is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Nebraska Society of Certified Public
Accountants, Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives,
Lincoln Manufacturing Council, and Forvis Mazars Foundation Committee. He is a graduate of
Leadership Lincoln and Leadership Nebraska.
He is a honors graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University, Lincoln, with a B.S. degree in
business administration with an emphasis in accounting.
