Veronica took the helm of ACG Denver in January 2019 as Executive Director. She has served in professional association management for over 20 years, most notably as Director of the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation, where she managed more than 350 committee leaders, a 36-member board of directors, a 26-member staff, and a $6.5 million budget. There she implemented strategic business plans, sound fiscal practices, and comprehensive market analyses to more effectively deliver value to ABA member-litigators and stakeholders.
In previous positions, she was director of the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession, where she helped launch the Women in Law Leadership Academy series and produced the annual Margaret Brent Women Lawyers of Achievement Awards luncheon. Veronica also served as a special advisor in the ABA Office of the President. Veronica left the ABA when she and her husband relocated to Denver in 2017.
A graduate of Purdue University with a BA in International Studies, Veronica also earned a Master of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and an Executive Scholar Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.

Maureen Gaeke, Chapter Manager
Maureen started with ACG in April 2021 as the Chapter Manager. She has been in association management for 7 years and has been involved in various aspects of event management for over 20 years. Maureen has a passion for community service and hospitality. She has enjoyed partnering with her association clients and creating connections with the members.
Prior to her role with ACG, Maureen worked with several companies including the University of Denver, Charlotte Convention Center, University of Washington and Microsoft in various sales and event management positions.
Maureen grew up in Idaho and earned a degree in Business Management from the University of Idaho. She loves exploring the outdoors with her husband and their three active children.
