Aaron Polack: Head of Business Development, Lion Equity Partners
& Director on the ACG Global Board of Directors
Aaron serves as a Director on the ACG Global Board of Directors and is on the ACG Corporate Development Officer Taskforce. He is also the Head of Business Development for Lion Equity Partners, a Denver-based Private Equity Firm focused on acquiring non-core divisions from larger companies. He manages the business development activities of the company including deal sourcing and evaluation, marketing, and add-on acquisition efforts for portfolio companies. Prior to joining Lion Equity, Aaron was an Investment Banking Analyst for JPMorgan and started his career in the Asset Management Group at PNC Bank. He graduated cum laude with a BA in Economics from Allegheny College, and was also honored as a Verizon/CoSida Academic All-American in Football.
Darren Hensley has practiced law in the Colorado legal market since 1990, and his practice emphasizes a wide variety of corporate, securities, mergers and acquisitions, financings, and general business law matters and transactions. He leads the Corporate and Transactional practice group in the Denver office of Polsinelli, and has significant experience with stock and asset acquisitions, mergers, leveraged buyouts, public and private debt and equity offerings (including venture capital), tender offers, credit facilities, joint ventures, university technology transfer investments, entity formation, Securities Exchange Act filings, SEC regulatory matters, and general corporate matters.
Darren has also published articles and lectured on mergers and acquisitions and transactional legal topics. He was named "Lawyer of the Year" by Best Lawyers® for Corporate Law in Denver in 2019 and is also ranked in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, Corporate/M&A and was named a Colorado SuperLawyer in the M&A practice area. He is currently the Chair of the M&A Subsection of the Colorado Bar Association.
CFO, Fullspeed Automotive
Jeff is a results oriented, C-level executive and entrepreneurial leader with over 25 years of operational, transaction, financial, accounting and capital markets experience. His expertise includes implementing and leading strategic and operating initiatives, creating accounting and financial efficiencies, capital raising, and merger and acquisition transactions. Jeff has successfully performed in high growth, turn-around and highly leveraged environments, and has partnered with multiple private equity funds resulting in significant value creation.
Prior to CFO of FullSpeed Automotive, which is parent company to the Grease Monkey® and SpeeDee® quick lube brands, Jeff was CFO at Tidel Engineering, a company that designs, manufactures and sells cash management systems to retailers internationally. There, he played a key role in executing four management buyouts, three sales and four dividend recaps. Jeff is a former board director of both public and private companies. He received his BS in finance from Depaul University and his MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
