The ACG Denver Board of Directors is pleased to announce Joanne Baginski as its new President-elect. Joanne is a partner in the Transaction Advisory Services practice for EKS&H (merging with Plante Moran, effective October 1st). Joanne will serve as the Board’s President-elect from September 2018 to August 2019, then serve a two-year term as Board President from September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2021. As President-elect, Joanne will provide leadership and visibility for the organization’s mission alongside current Board President David Roberts.
“I am personally delighted that the Nominating Committee has selected Joanne for this role and I am confident she will do an outstanding job leading ACG Denver in the coming years,” said Roberts.
Joanne has been a member of ACG Denver for more than a decade, and she has been a very committed and effective member of its Board for five years. She has served as Chair of the Corporate Growth Awards and has participated on the Dealmaker’s Forum committee for several years. In addition, she has been the steward of EKS&H’s long-standing sponsorship of the Chapter. To learn more about Joanne, please read her bio below.
Joanne has almost 25 years of public and private accounting experience and leads the transaction advisory services area at EKS&H. She has been involved in more than 200 transactions on both the buy- and sell-side. She assists clients, including private equity firms, their portfolio companies, and strategic acquirers, with a variety of transaction-related services including quality of earnings, working capital, profitability analyses, and carve out financial statements. Her expertise also includes business finance, financial planning and analysis, and capital financing.
She is active in a number of industry and community organizations. Her professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Association for Corporate Growth, and AM&AA.
