ACG Denver Welcomes Seven New Board Members

Denver, CO – September 1, 2018–ACG Denver, the Rocky Mountain region’s premier organization for middle market business leaders, welcomes seven new board members: Stephen Brown, Todd Criger, Stacey Hekkert, Robert Larkin, Barry Levine, Eric Mattson and Jason Werner. 

“This year we were very fortunate to receive over 30 nominations for a small number of open board seats, and had to make difficult choices between many well-qualified candidates,” stated David Roberts, ACG Denver Board President. “We landed on these outstanding individuals based on their strong track record of contributions to the leadership and success of ACG Denver.”

Stephen Brown is CEO of Briotix, a role he previously held for PreCare. His successful strategies have resulted in exponentially growing revenues and significantly increasing shareholder value, two hallmarks of his leadership. Stephen has led organizations with services including managed care, disability management, property and casualty insurance programs, call centers, medical publishing, software development, medical cost containment and risk management.

 

Todd Criger is of Counsel at Holland & Hart where he represents public and private companies in buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions. He has represented issuers and underwriters in initial public offerings, and helped complete numerous organizational and ownership restructurings and joint ventures. Todd also counsels clients on matters concerning securities law disclosure and compliance, corporate governance, and business formation matters.

 

Stacey Hekkert leads Anton Collins Mitchell (ACM) as President and Managing Partner. She has 25 years of audit and assurance services experience and serves as an advisor to her clients. In addition to managing the overall operations of ACM and ensuring the firm exceeds the standards required of professional service firms, she is also instrumental in directing the growth of ACM which has recently broken in to the Top 200 accounting firms in the U.S.

 

Robert Larkin is Senior Vice President of Global Commercial Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where his primary role is to develop and deepen relationships with commercial clients and prospects to help them with strategic growth plans. He and his team provide comprehensive banking solutions to each client and prospect according to their unique situation and needs.

 

 

Barry Levine most recently served as COO and CFO of Scott's Liquid Gold andboasts extensive executive leadership success in revitalizing and building small, medium, and large public and private companies (including companies owned by private equity and venture capital firms) in a variety of executive management positions. He has experience in multiple industries operating domestically and internationally, including consumer products, manufacturing, distribution, technology, and healthcare.

 

Eric Mattson brings over 25 years of merger & acquisition, strategic consulting and senior operations experience to his role of Principal at Excellere Partners. Prior to joining Excellere, he was Executive Director at United BioSource Corporation (UBC), an Express Scripts company and Executive Vice President with HealthStar Communications, an international medical communications company. Key aspects of each of Eric’s past two roles include executing acquisitions and divestitures, acquisition integration and developing growth strategies.

 

Jason Werner focuses his role as Associate at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner on assisting clients with complex entity formations, structuring, acquisitions, and dispositions. His experience includes both buy-side and sell-side M&A, private equity and general corporate counseling. He counsels clients through all aspects of their businesses, ranging from day-to-day contract and other corporate needs to the successful completion of material transactions.
