JOE MCDOUGALL

Joe McDougall is a senior executive and board leader with more than 30 years of experience  guiding companies through growth, transformation, and governance. He has operated at the  intersection of private equity, global business leadership, and boardroom oversight, delivering  consistent results in value creation, talent strategy, and complex restructuring. 

Currently, Joe serves as Partner and Head of TC Operating Partners at Trive Capital, an $8B  private equity firm, where he built and scaled the operating group from concept to a fully  integrated value-creation platform. His leadership has generated $100M+ in annual portfolio  impact through operational excellence, AI and analytics, strategic deployment, M&A integration, and talent initiatives. 

He has also held CEO and P&L leadership roles, including serving as Interim CEO of ParFab Industries, a $200M refinery services business and President of Axalta Coating System’s $1.6B  Global Coatings business. At Axalta Coating Systems, he executed one of private equity’s most successful carve-outs, led M&A transactions across five countries, and oversaw IPO governance  and board recruitment. He previously held senior leadership roles at Honeywell International.
