As a Partner in Aprio’s Transaction Advisory Services group, Bill Dupee advises institutional investors and strategic acquirers through the most critical moments of the transaction lifecycle. With nearly a decade of experience in merger, acquisition, and divestiture due diligence, he brings disciplined analysis and clear judgment to complex engagements across manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, software, retail, and professional services.
Bill is widely recognized for his technical expertise in EBITDA determination and quality of earnings (QoE) analysis, helping clients ground purchase price negotiations in transparent, defensible financial insights. His experience extends beyond deal close, providing guidance on quality of net assets, working capital considerations, and divisional carve‑outs to support well‑structured, thoughtfully executed transactions.
Focused on execution excellence and risk mitigation, Bill has advised on transactions ranging from $1 million to approximately $500 million. He is known for helping clients meet aggressive timelines while managing costs through disciplined planning and appropriately scoped diligence.

Bill earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and his Master of Accountancy from the University of Georgia and is a licensed CPA in Georgia. Actively engaged in the profession and broader community, Bill’s affiliations include the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Young ACG Steering Committee, the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) Young Professionals Board, Rebecca’s Tent (Board Member and Treasurer), and the University of Georgia Alumni Association. Outside of work, Bill is married and the proud father of a one-year old daughter.
