Michael Williams, Managing Partner, Truvestments Capital LLC

Mike started his career in financial services for clients back in 1982. He works to build a solid foundation for clients, based on logic and patience in their wealth-building plans, with a focus on capital preservation. Mike is a frequent contributor to national news broadcasts, including Fox Business News, CNBC and Bloomberg. Mike was previously a partner at Tocqueville Asset Management. During his time there, he had the opportunity to serve clients globally alongside a team of well-respected wealth managers and partners. His research efforts combined with many years of experience - through a number of economic cycles - allow him to share strong insights with clients, across many channels of the investing landscape.

The New York State Common Retirement Fund (Fund) is the third largest public pension plan in the nation with a value of $210.5 billion in assets (as of March 31, 2019) held in trust for the retirement security of the more than one million members of the New York State and Local Retirement Systems (NYSLRS). The Fund is widely regarded as one of the nation's best-managed and best-funded pension plans.
