ACG NY VIP LP Allocator Series | Roundtable 1: Family Offices as Fund & Co-Investors

Led by the rise in global wealth, Family Offices have continued to grow and expand their investment coverage and this trend is expected to continue in 2021. Through the disruption brought on by COVID-19, Family Offices have likely faced a rebalancing in their portfolios though continue to focus on long-term goals of preserving wealth while managing risk. The trend toward direct investments is also well documented, though finding quality managers and establishing a solid co-investment program remains essential.

The first session in the Allocator LP series will discuss:

  • How are Family Offices managing their succession planning issues and mitigating the operational, liquidity, and portfolio risk induced by COVID-19?
  • What investment strategies and geographies are Family Offices targeting to preserve wealth and diversify their portfolios
  • What factors contribute to the increasing keenness towards co-investments?
  • With the growing need for transparency and expectation of better real time data to drive decision-making, how are Family Offices optimizing technology and data analytics tools?
  • As talent becomes increasingly harder to find and compensate, how are Family offices approaching hiring and resource management?
  • How are focus areas such as sustainability, ESG, and impact investing shaping the way Family Offices look at allocating?
