Mr. Hughes is a Managing Director of P&M Corporate Finance and leads the firm’s Medical Technology team. He has over 10 years of business and transaction advisory experience, specializing in assisting clients with mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, private placements, financings, valuation and strategic consulting. Bryan’s clients have ranged from global life sciences companies to small, privately held businesses. In addition to leading the firm’s Medical Technology team, he has also completed transactions in business services, consumer and industrial sectors.

Mr. Hughes earned a B.B.A. with emphasis in finance from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He is a licensed securities representative, holding Series 7 and 63 registrations. 

As the leader of Plante Moran’s healthcare private equity team, Jerry primarily advises private equity firms investing in healthcare, manufacturing and distribution, and general business services. His expertise includes providing financial due diligence assistance and support through quality of earnings analyses.

Since starting with the firm in 2008, Jerry’s greatest accomplishment is his ability to continually develop and adapt to the ever-changing clients and industries Plante Moran serves as well as the emerging accounting and financial reporting standards. Jerry enjoys developing meaningful relationships with clients, potential clients, colleagues, and other staff — and believe that’s part of why this group is successful.
