At our next dinner on March 12th, Abilash Jaikumar will speak about Data Analytics and Private Equity: New Tools to Drive Firm Performance and Portfolio Company Value.

We will discuss what data analytics actually is (and isn’t), the different types of data professionals, what tools are used in data analytics, types of data and options for private equity forms and their portfolio companies to engage with data analytics resources.

We will then dive into how data analytics can be used across the private equity investment lifecycle, including applications for specific parts of the value chain of a portfolio company and portfolio monitoring.

As Co-Founder and Managing Director at TresVista, Abilash comes with in-depth experience in both Investment Banking and Private Equity.

Prior to co-founding TresVista, he was associated both with Merrill Lynch and Alta Communications, with experience in such disparate industries like Telecommunications, Media & Technology, Aviation, Building Products, Automotive and Life Sciences.

He graduated with Honors from Georgetown University with a B.S.B.A. in Finance and Accounting and minoring in Philosophy and Economics. Abilash is a member of the Board of Directors for the Association of Corporate Growth (ACG) New York and serves on the Board of Beyond Capital Fund, a charitable impact investment firm towards for-profit enterprises in India and East African nations.
