Mr. Dan Haynes joined Riverside in 2008 and works with the Riverside Micro-Cap Fund (RMCF) family.  RMCF invests in fast-growing North American companies with generally up to $10 million of earnings. The RMCF team has invested in 68 platforms and 109 add-ons since 2005 and has sold 35 platforms, including Censis Technologies and ProSites in 2019.  Previously, he worked at KeyBanc Capital Markets.  Mr. Haynes holds a B.S. in Management from Case Western Reserve University.

Chris O’Connor

President

As President of Second Avenue Capital Partners, Chris brings over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.  Prior to the formation of Second Avenue, Chris started asset based lending groups for two financial institutions.  In addition, he has held numerous senior level, executive management roles across the commercial lending landscape.

Most recently, Chris served as Senior Vice President of Cambridge Trust overseeing its asset based lending vertical.

Prior to Cambridge, Chris was the Co-President of Salus Capital Partners, LLC and also served as its Chief Credit Officer. He was responsible for the oversight of underwriting and portfolio management.

Chris joined Salus from Rockland Trust Company where he served as Senior Vice President and  was a Co-Founder of Rockland’s Asset Based Lending Group.

Chris also served as an Executive Vice President of Business Credit at Webster Bank. Previously, he held senior roles with Webster Business Credit Corp and Wells Fargo Capital Finance.

Chris is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Northeast Management Turnaround Association and a Member of the Commercial Finance Association.

Luis Pillich

Managing Director

Luis Pillich is a Director in the special situations practice within Stout's Investment Banking group. He has nearly 20 years of private equity, financial advisory, and capital markets experience. With significant knowledge of special situations transactions, Luis has advised companies in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, complex valuations, and capital-raising activities domestically and internationally. He has led successful transactions in the manufacturing, distribution, defense, and media industries, among others.

Prior to joining Stout, Luis was an investment professional at Versa Capital Management where he was responsible for originating and structuring investment opportunities. Before that, he was an investment banker at SSG Capital Advisors, LLC where he led execution efforts on M&A (including Section 363, Article 9, and debt purchase), private placement, and balance sheet restructuring transactions. Earlier in his career, Luis was an investment banker at Chanin Capital Partners and JPMorgan Chase in New York.

Mr. Grbic is the President & CEO of White Oak Commercial Finance. Mr. Grbic has more than 30 years of commercial lending experience. He has been with the company and its predecessor since 2005, previously serving as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer where he was involved in creating a hands-on, best-practices credit culture, as well as helping the Company expand its client portfolio. Before that, Mr. Grbic was Managing Director at Morris Anderson & Associates LTD, a turnaround-consulting firm. He also co-founded MetSource Capital, LLC, a restructuring and corporate finance firm, working primarily with small- and medium-sized companies. In addition, Mr. Grbic has also served at GMAC Commercial Credit, LLC, BNY Financial Corp and Bankers Trust. Mr. Grbic is a member of the New York Society of Financial Analysts and the Association for Investment Management and Research. He has served as an instructor for the Finance, Tax and Law Department at the NYU School of Continuing Education. Mr. Grbic holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration from Pace University.
