Garrett Klugh is Chief Advisor to Falk Ventures, the family office of legendary sports agent David Falk, and Director at Sankhara, a private equity fund dedicated to preserving the human experience through extraordinary physical assets. An Olympian and World Champion rower, Garrett has built a career at the intersection of sports, business, and investment -- advising founders, managing portfolios, and driving growth across industries.
A six-time U.S. National Team member and 2004 Olympian, Garrett captured a World Rowing Championship in 1999 and was elected by his peers to serve on the Board of Directors of USRowing. Following his athletic career, he served with distinction as a San Diego police officer, earning multiple commendations, before joining the U.S. Olympic Committee in a management development role, contributing to the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Beijing, Vancouver, and London.
Garrett later led athlete representation at 776 Original Marketing and taught as adjunct faculty at the University of Colorado while earning his MBA at George Washington University. Today, in addition to his leadership roles at Falk Ventures and Sankhara, he is the founder of Fortius Consulting, providing business development support to early and mid-stage startups, and he actively mentors companies and accelerators in the sports-tech ecosystem.
