Mark Broadie is the Carson Family Professor of Business at Columbia Business School where he teaches courses in Sports Analytics and Business Analytics and is a leading figure in sports analytics and finance. He’s known for creating the strokes gained methodology used by the PGA Tour, as well as the OWGR ranking system for professional golf and the ranking system for college golf.  Professor Broadie has consulted for major golf organizations and PGA TOUR players, and his book Every Shot Counts is a bestseller on golf data and performance. He holds a BS from Cornell and a PhD from Stanford.
